Expose the textile sample to the light of a xenon arc lamp and water spray under specified conditions. In the meantime, expose the eight dyed blue wool references to the light. But we also need to protect it from splashing water with a window pane. Finally, assess the lightfastness by comparing the color change of the sample with that of the references. If the device is to determine the wet light-sensitive textiles, the blue wool standard does not need to be exposed.
